This statue was sculpted by Ramachadra Pandurang Kamat & was inaugurated on 20th sept 1945.It commemorates the memory of Abbe Faria,world's first hypnotist.
He was born in Candolim,Goa on 31st May .1756 and died on 20th Sept,1819 in France.
