Panchaganga River, Indian RiverPanchaganga flows through the borders of Kolhapur and the river originates from Prayag Sangam. The birthplace of this river is called Chikhlee Taluka in the district of Kolhapur. It does not have its origin. Five rivers forms Panchaganga; Panch means Five. The Panchaganga is an ancient river and a tributary of Krishna River.
